2006 Mexico Mission to Calkini, Mexico
In mid-July we took a group of 12 youth and adults to Calkini, Campeche, Mexico where we helped a church begin work on a new facility. They have outgrown their present building and are excited about building anew in an area of the city which is growing. We did concrete construction work building a roof. We also ran a Vacation Bible School for 100-150 kids and gave away reading glasses and prescription glasses. God was at work protecting us and teaching us important lessons through our Mexican brothers and sisters!" We plan to return to Mexico in the summer of 2007 for our 6th mission project there!
