Pastor Dave's thumbnail biography

B.A. in Biblical Studies and Christian Education (Wheaton College, 1976)

Graduate work in Marriage and Family Therapy (University of Maryland)

Master of Divinity (Wesley Theological Seminary, 1992)

Doctor of Ministry Candidate (Union Seminary, Richmond)

After college, Dave worked as a Director of Youth Ministry and Christian Education in Daytona Beach, Washington, D.C., and Vienna, VA. While directing a youth ministry of several hundred kids at the Vienna Presbyterian Church he began to pursue ordained ministry. He was ordained in 1992 and called to the Vienna Church as an Associate Pastor where he served until 1999. In late 1999 he came to Fairfield.

David's wife, Bonnie, is a church musician, youth worker, and customer service consultant. They have two children, Stephen, who is a professional kayaker, and Melissa who is in medical school.
